“Great place to spend the Christmas break”
Reviewed 4 Jan 2020
Just spent a fabulous week at Netherway for the Christmas holiday. Cottage is well equipped and for six of us we had loads of space to spread ourselves. Weather could have been kinder but we managed a few walks locally.
Corie and Dave are great hosts and so helpful.
Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage and it will be even better when the barn is finished!!

This was our second stay at this beautiful cottage we had the upstairs attic room as well this time as their was more of us this time, this can be booked if needed and what can I say absolutely beautiful lots of space simply charming lovely room.
Villagers are very friendly nice little pub the royal oak for food made us feel very welcome.Shop has all the essentials you need & more nice friendly staff.
Our older son is a keen photographer so he has loved the views in the village and around Dorset itself great walks for our dog.
The village is not far from some great sightseeing areas in Dorset & is nice to drive back after a busy day and relax & unwind in this cottage which has lots of space for all the family.
We have all enjoyed our holiday here again and will be booking again in the future looking forward to seeing the Barn conversion they are doing at the rear of the cottage for added extra space if needed or just a lovely time away for two.
Thank You Dave & Corie
See you both again soon.
“Quintessential English Cottage - Perfection!”

We just completed our second visit to Netherway Farmhouse. It is located in a small and charming village. The property has all of the modern conveniences you can imagine, yet all of the charm of a 17th-century farmhouse.
The main living space is very comfortable and everything is updated. Since our last visit in 2017, there have been several incredible upgrades. The kitchen has been totally refitted and the Secret Garden is gorgeous! There is ample parking on the property and a newly renovated barn behind the main farmhouse. There are 3 spacious bedrooms on the second floor with a full bath including a bathtub. There is also an ensuite that can be booked separately on the top floor if you need accommodation for more guests. There is an extra cost for this area which is lovely and was added since our last trip.
We celebrated my father's 90th birthday there and found it to be the perfect place for a special celebration.
There is a lovely pub just a few doors down that serves very good food and beverage. The local residents are all so friendly and welcoming. There is also a small grocery down the street that has just about everything you can imagine including some local fare. This is a great location to explore all of Dorset with several towns close by.
The owners are fantastic and make you feel right at home. So much so that some of our relatives that live nearby have booked Netherway for Christmas holiday.
We hope to return someday to this very special and magical place. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Jolly ole England -- this is perfection!

Wonderful Cottage in a lovely village in beautiful surroundings. The cottage is very spacious with everything you need for your holiday. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Plenty of parking within the grounds, pub and village shop minutes away and endless walks on your doorstep.
The owners were very helpful, when asked, with advice about places to visit with lots of brochures etc in the cottage. They even organised amazing weather for our stay.....what more could you want!
“Beautiful spacious well appointed cottage - highly recommended”

I highly recommend this delightful holiday cottage. It's been beautifully restored by the owners, with loads of original features combined with modern comforts. Very spacious living accommodation, and they allow dogs to stay too!. Set in beautiful surrounding countryside with great walks, and attractive towns and villages nearby.
“Stunning thatched cottage holiday”

We stayed in this beautiful cottage 15-21 September. Wow what a gorgeous place! The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were welcomed with some lovely biscuits too. I can’t explain how lovely this building is without attaching some photos!! The cottage is very cosy (with a log burner, which we used twice!) and comfortable.
The village is also really pretty and there are so many places to visit that aren’t too far away.
We so enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day.
We met David & Corie in the local pub (Royal Oak, which is a few doors down the road), they were very lovely people and really care about their property and the people staying in it. Unfortunately the kitchen in the pub was closed for refurbishment so we didn’t get to try their food but we had many a drink and met a few of the locals too!!
As a whole, we had a fabulous holiday and would fully recommend to anybody.
“A very well appointed traditional cottage, thoroughly recommended”

Netherway is a very comfortable cottage, well appointed with everything you need for your stay. It has been renovated to a very good standard but retains all of it's period features, exposed oak beams etc.
We were there for a week and would highly recommend a stay here, it is very dog friendly, the rear garden is completely secure and you have peace of mind regarding your pet, they can roam freely.
It is well located, there are plenty of other local villages in the surrounding area, the shop located within a few hundred yards is excellent, there is a pub within 100 paces of the front door, very friendly and nice food served too.
